GESL is over.. its a mix feeling i guess. The whole entire journey was defintely tiring but enriching..

Woke up early in the morning at 6am on the first day (29th dec). Went the Care Corner in TPY. Think it is sort of like a day care centre for kids. We were introduced to the kids that we would be taking care of and we had 6 kids per group. Our group had 2 boys which were super.. well.. havoc. Halfway through the jouney I was like telling myself how girls are much better compared to the boys =.= The girls in our group were so sweet such that one of us can jus handle for gals while the other 3 of us in the group had to take care of the boys.

It was kinda weird to hear them calling us "cher cher (teacher". haha. Maybe coz ive not done relief teaching before. Went to the fish and the frog farm. At the end of the day, though i was really tired, i kinda miss the kids although they were a handful. I never though i wil feel this way, judging from my negative perception to this all activity in the first place.

The most rewarding for this day would be when the super cute little girl that has been holding onto the number 4 wanted to see with me. I felt so bad to turn her down as ive been sitting with another girl throughout the jouney and i cant possibily jus abandon her. But seeing her actions, it made everything worth it.

The sweet gal

Our group

She is super cute ^_^

The girl i sat beside and talked to most of the time during the day=) really sweet gal

The gal wearing dear's cap. hahaz. was bored

The dog at the frog farm

For the next day, we went to this children's home where the kids there came from complicated family, like abuse homes and stuff like that so we wun allowed to take their pics. Although the kids were less hyperactive, they required a different kind of energy that totally drained us out by the 1st farm tour.

But like what my fren said, guess this was really meaningful. But im glad GESL is over =P

Couldnt take pic of them so took pic of the fruits from the orchard farm

New yEar celebration was a BLAST
