My parents gave me a phone as a christmas present. Exciting you say..NOT, when the phone is a Nokia 6070, the only noteworthy function of the phone is a VGA camera. I didnt want to hurt their feelings so i had to be happy/excited/ecstatic when i received it.
Meanwhile, my sis got a new phone too. Similarly, a $0 value phone which was the Samsung j750 i think, a phone wif a 3G function and and extendable memory card slot.

Im not unhappy that my sis got a "slightly" better phone than me. Hell no. She definitely deserved it coz for me, i lost my phone so I didnt deserve that good a phone..Furthermore, i'll relly miss her when she goes for Australia so now i really want to give her things that she will need. I love my sis although she irritates the hell out of me.Even the ipod that she wanted. i didnt mind forking part of what i earned this december to get her one. but i cant. why?

Because my parents dont believe in spending money on this kind of stuff. For example, i asked them if i could get my own new phone in a few months time when my 17-mth old contract can be renewed. they said NO. this is to me a little warp reasoning......

I can understand why they don't allow me to spend if the money that i was going to use to get the new phone was savings from my pocket money, because ultimately, the money comes from them! But i specifically told them that the money that i am planning to use will be part of my salary. After all, I told them that i will only be spending that certain % of my salary and since I'm not allowed to go out after New Year, why cant i spend it on a new phone? it is not as though i was going to get a $800 phone. i just wanted a good camera phone with an mp3 function so that i do not need to get a cam/mp3 seperately.

im beginning to sound like a spoilt and selfish brat. i do understand that they are being protective and concern. but if i did waste my money, i will learn from my mistake..I just wanna have this slight freedom where i am able to choose what i want to do with what is mine.

23rd Dec - WE CONCERT!

Went to SAM to watch concert. been a long time since i last sang. watching them sing really made me want to join WE. really miss singing alot. AND SEEING MS ONG! now only opportunity to see her is to go for concerts and WE practices. haha if only had carolling. doing 2 things that i love- singing and making $$ =) had a mad frenzy of taking photos after that.

24th Dec- the eve of christmas

Had company lunch at Manhattan Fish Market..yup i haven heard of it before but the food there was good. its very similar to Fish and Co except the food a little nicer. had full course i.e soup-salad-beverage-main course which i chose grilled salmon-dessert. after that went over to aunt's house and ate AGAIN.

met warren and derek at dhoby ghaut (plaza Sing.) inital plan to do countdown? haha in the end we went to watch movie I AM LEGEND. movie started at 11.10pm so we went shopping from 9+ till the movie started. all of us bought something. haha bought this really cool dual jacket that can be put together to form a jacket. original price - $69. price when the jacket on sale - $15. price that i bought it after i was deliberating aloud to the salesgirl coz the size was M not S - $12 =)

The movie -__-.. half an hour into the movie, the screen went blank. mind u the place is not some ulu ulu cinema. it was GV at plaza singapura. it stayed blank for a couple minutes before resuming. about half an hour before the show ended, the screen became so blured that the chinese subtitles couldnt even be read. it was a gradual blurring so for one moment i thought it was my eyes.

the ending was super cheesy. the movie wasnt that bad though a little cut-up. but my peeve was that corny ending. the movie ended late, around 1+am. warren's dad fetch us so i reached home at 2am.

25th Dec-Merry Christmas! hohoho~

fa lalala~ its christmas.. and i was sick in the morning. hohoho. but that made me realise the wonder of panadol. ate panadol when i woke up. felt sick all morning so spend my morning drifting in and out of sleep. bu afternoon was feeling so much better. by evening i was ok le. well almost. got the sniffles but at least no fever or anything. hahaz. yunny tuna junie sheryl and yingxiu came over my house to stay for the nite. yingxiu sharing her X'mas spirit by treating all of us pizza. hahaz. we played all kinds of stuff till 4am where we finally went off to sleep coz cairong have to go to woodlands for project and i had to work. though i did seriously consider taking an offday.

work up at 8 and to my surprise, i survived work day just fine. in fact, it was as though i had 8 hours plus of sleep.

but the tiredness got me today. felt super tired.

I AM SO SO SO F***-ing PISSED! haiz. ytd i called this place in the afternoon and that b***** told me that she will arrange for an interview on the 26th. In the evening she called me again, asking : will you be free at 10am tmr for an interview? i told her yes and she said ok. after which she proceeded to talk to me about whether im bringing any frens along.

today, i called her again to ask her for the exact location of the place. called a couple of times at ard 930am. when she picked up and i told her who i was and why i was calling, that B**** actually said something like :
i dun rmb asking you to come down today coz i am not free today. i tot i ask u to come down on the 26? not today. please listen to instructions carefully next time

WTH. nvm i cant be bothered and i jus hanged up the phone. 20secs later she called. she said smething like :
you are christine rite?i told you about coming down for interview today ? but i nv said it was 10am. if i ask u to come down for an interview today it will be in the evening coz i am not free now. i never said 10am at all. and i didnt confirm with you that the interview was today. did you confirm with me? next time please confirm 1st.

she asked if i wanted to come today in the evening i told her i not free then i told her 26th den can. RAR! pissed!

lesson learnt : always to confirm every single detail even if it seemed confirm
now i dunno if i will even get the job or will i have hell if i work under her

On a more positive note, going for WE concert todayXD

haha parents in Israel =freedom and choas at home. sis on com pratically the min she open her eyes. i am not that great either coz i'll be using my dad's laptop the min i come home from work. realised the convenience of having a laptop. can access internet from the comfort of my bed.

bwing, derek, boss!, junxian and wee came over for steamboat today. wee came about 3+ after we finish lunch so she only joined us for dinner. derek and bwing bought a lot of food. it was suppose to be lunch only but since there was excess food we ate steamboat for dinner too. not bad ba $5.80 for steamboat lunch and dinner per person.

Whooo~ went to fish and co with war derek hg bwing jx and nigel yesterday.. for the second time. hahaz. this time is the one near plaza sing. never went that one b4..the original plan was to go seoul garden at taka but the queue was too long hahaz. there were 2 other big grp of pple in front of us so went off to fish and co..



in the end the queue there was as long queue for fish and co as well so we actually went in at 8+ and started eating at 9+. ate seafood platter which i still think should be called ( seafood platter for 3) instead of 2. but the food was nice ba. at least didnt spend as much as we would if we went to seoul garden assuming that the price for SG is $27..

after that we walked all the way to somerset mrt which was kinda a wrong move coz we ended up reaching at somerset mrt at 11pm which was super late... and to add up to the fact that we are so so so bloated. but the christmas lights were nice. feel like gg there again for christmas. anyone wanna go? hahaz




today




went to send warren off to tekong... weechong was going in also. quite a number of pple were there to go with them. hahaz i saw bronson though he didnt go up the bus at the same time as us. i think his is another time.



felt so so so so sick at the ferry.. the constant rocking and all. lucky i had nothing in my stomach. the place.. well it was not exactly what i expected ba.. the whole place and bunks were nice and comfy looking. but of course that is what they want and nid to portray to the parents or else parents will just be super worried. the food was rather nice too. in big portions. even the hungry me did not finish. well i also had to exercise some self restrain lest i start puking on the way back... we had to quickly leave and not linger coz the boat was leaving.. ... .... .... ....




haiz.. is like really very fast. warren go in le. next is nigel. den slowly everyone will go in. is kinda weird coz soon everyone will be busy with their own life.. hahaz my parents will be glad that my smses that i send will decrease.. is like now already i feel is kinda weird lost sad mix all together coz like cannot msg war to crap about stuff if see interesting stuff to talk about....wat more when everyone goes in...

BACK FROM CHALET! super crazy chalet. super tired too.. so much things happened.having a slight headache so decided to stay at home today. haha wanna go out tmr but everyone's working le.



day1



1st time i took bus to downtown east. normal route: take to Payalebar MRT. this time met up wif war to take bus 89 from hougang straight to downtown east. went to his house 1st to return huan huan ai which i held on for kinda long.. bus 89 route That, was SO SO MUCH FASTER. should haf discover this route long time ago.



1st day was a rather mild day.. played mahjong the whole afternoon,when there was only 5 of us ( me wee derek war nigel) watched haunted mansion on channel 5. the fun started when everyone came ( kaibin hg junxian jan) at around 10 and we started playing games with crazy forfeits. really crazy. had to do 2 forfeits, one of which really crazy..what are the odds of getting 6 for all 3 dices.. that day slept kinda late. we played forfeits till we were asked to quieten down. slept on the big bed. there was 5 of us. so kinda a squeeze. didnt really sleep coz 5 of us shared one pathetic blanket which was pulled around the whole nite. and since it was 5 of us, woke up hafway to find myslef squeezed and i couldnt even move.



derek had to wake up at 6 to go to work so had a little more space after that. hahaha bwing send derek off.. so sweet XD hahahaz.



day2


why does it always have to rain when we go to chalet=.= all of us woke up real late and it was drizzling. became a full blown rain after a breakfast of a pancake each we went back to the room to play games. played bridge which i haven touch for a long long time. haha almost forgot how to play. played all the way till late afternoon. realised how unhealthy we were coz we totally skipped lunch. ard 4 + when the rain finally stopped went to rent a bike. it has been years since i last cycle.



cycled down the the spiderweb like thingy.. haha i dun haf a childhood. 1st time climbing up that thing and it was fun. nigel war jan and i took each corner of the spiderweb and climbed up. scary. but FUN. then the weather turned crazy again and it started pouring real hard. got caught in the middle of pasir ris park. after waiting for ard 20 mins we decided to ride back in the rain. THAT, would be the highlight of the chalet. haha. it was pourin so hard that at one point i couldnt see where i was going and sort of followed nigel's voice to noe where we are heading.



at nite after dinner and watching our tv shows we decided to go out for a nite ride at ard 11plus. nite riding is a little scary yet surreal. the sky was red. really totally red. not even purple. is like a scene out of the book red sky in the morning except its at nite. wished i had a camera with me to capture the whole event. we tried teaching war to cycle. but before we can do much it started to rain again. cant imagine why it always has to rain.



went back to the room at ard 2+ b4 sleeping at 3.30 after watching criminal minds.. it was less of a squeeze coz nigel and derek went home le. had a whole blanket to myself. muahahah. so had a much better sleep than the previous nite.



day3



wanted to wake up at 6am to continue our cycle but at 6am, when war's loud gatsby alarm song rang a few times, all of us jus turned and continue sleeping. in the end, we went out to cycle at 8plus till 930.went to the flying fox and spiderweb area again



went to escape. after queuing for so freaking long at the go cart, jus as we fasten on the belts, jus as we were ready to step on the accelerator, the rides were called off due to the bad weather. bleaghx. so pissifying. had to wait till the rain stop. but i finally went into the haunted house. haha though my eyes were closed 60% of the time but at least i went there once and i will not go there again. haha.



felt kinda sick on the way home. guess is the like of sleep+lack of proper meals+ not detoxifying for the past couple of days + rain and getting drench + the rides at escpae combine together... but it was one unforgettable chalet trip.

bleaghz what a total dissapointment today. haha ok.. not total but still disappointing. my eyes is swelling up again.. heh squeezed one of the swelling part and got kinda a shock when the pus came out coz wasnt expecting it so soon..



thought of it the past couple of days. moving on to the next chapter of life.letting go of what needs to be let go.. move on girl :D

MY 100th POST! hahah ok. that was random. went to Settler's cafe for the 1st time with bwing wee hg dongqi jx jan.. IT WAS SUPER SUPER FUN! the games are never hard before games but fun at the same time. great way to pass time besides using the com and watching TV..dun mind going back again. super high at that place. felt so tired after the timeslot that we were given (2-6) ended. haha a little like the kbox timeslot..



after that went over to hougang mall wif dongqi jx and jan. hougang nv cease to amaze me by its constant changes. new shops opening, renovations ending... oh wellz. the only constant in life is changes :P.. should go there more often.



now deliberating whether to go watch tv at 1130 or continue to watch stuff online. tmr must wake up early=) going wif tuna to see the colours for hair dye. hopefully can get the colour of hair dye that we want. going all the way there so early in the morn -_- zzzz

Some said that the fun part of prom is preparing for the prom.. i kinda agree with it now. i think i had much more fun preparing for prom. anywayz prom pictures at the bottom of this post. hahaz. i'll send to ur if i see ur online.



preparation started on mon (3rd dec) hahaz had to run all the way to upper bukit timah road to collect the . yup that far.. was looking at the street directory for directions.. was so scared that i'll get lost on the area of singapore that i hardly go to. and it didnt help that the person was late for half an hour. as a result was late in reaching little india station.. really really sorry ^^



heh jus read warren thin dong qi's blog in which my name was in chinese -.- i dun like chinese. hahahz. and my com cant type chinese so i cant retaliate back by typing in chinese hence i will use han yu pin yin. haha after doing all the errands which made me feel kinda like a maid, went over to thin dongqi's house to play mahjong. hahaz. was super entertained by his dog which is 3/4 the size of mine. super small and cute... wanted to slp early but ended up slping at 3am. was super scared i cant wake up early the next day..and haf dark eye rings heez

The day of prom

went over to a hair salon near huiyun's grandma house to do hair.. haha huiyun did her makeup dere too. spend almost an hour there. but was really happy wif my hair. haha was expecting jus curls but got this =D haha ok the picture is not that clear.. hy's hair was like her maple character. like hy like maple character.
















took cab after that to angel's house.. woah. cab fare that day cost us almost $10 each.. it didnt help that it was during the peak period. we reach angel's house ard 6 so spend our time taking pictures while waiting for angel and archi..

loser randy ong didnt come -.- he could haf jus passed his tix to someone. as a result our table only had 8 instead of the norm 10. alot of food left. the whole prom thingy was ok ba. there was hardly any signs of the theme ( salsa fever). the food was regretfully so-so. the host was good though..

went back to angel's house to change for post prom party at the arena.. didnt stay in there for long. the lights were causing all of us a headache coz of the werid timing it flashes so went over to macs. reached angel's house around 3+. the number of pins sticked into our hairs combine is astonishing. haha mine had ard 15 and is one of the least. we finally fell asleep at 5+. till ard 10 in the morn.

Day after prom

rained all day so sloacked at angel's house and finished the food in her fridge like choc and drinks. angel cooked beef soup sausages and prawns. slacked sleep talked watch random boring tv shows the whole day till 6.30 pm. haha really enjoyed the whole staying over at angel's house. the gossiping the bitching. haha and meeting up with conny. so long nv see her. everyone is going off le to their own country.. haha haf a safe trip and see all of ur next yr!!

tuesday went to LAN shop wif warren derek bwing hg and tyson. hahaz. first time i played CS. really addictive. was rather sad when it all ended. i wanna go again but doubt if will go again coz of the low finance resources and everyone starting work soon.



been playing mahjong for the past couple of days. haha this prompted my mum to say " its ok for you to play mahjong but dont get addicted to it." heh its addictive but not that addictive.. i wont haf withdrawal symptoms from not playing it..



prom is around the corner. haven bought some stuff. 3 more DAYS! haha back to watching vcd now.. watching huan huan ai tempts me to re-watch er mo zai shen bian. plus the main cast are the same..
