I have just returned from the teambuilding games! Had loads of fun though super tired. Met up with Charlene early in the morning at 7am at Serangoon Mrt coz we had to reach NIE by 9. This is at least later Wednesday where we had to meet at 6.30am in order to reach NIE by 8.30. I dread to think of the timing that we have to meet on MOnday coz we have to reach NIE by 7.30am!!!

Anywayz, the games were not as bad as I thought it would be. There were hardly any of the Secondary School kind of orientation game. Main event was this amazing race game which led us running all over NIE. our group was the super suer enthu group that RAN to every station. haha. most pple would have walked. In the end we got overall 1st runnerup though we came in 1st in the race. Guess some of the answers that we wrote were wrong.

NIE has this mini Olympics thingy that we have to participate in.. We can either play basketball, soccer, floorball or take part in a relay where each person has to run 2.4km. Didnt want to play the ball games coz I'm too short, cant play soccer or floorball so signed up for running. haha will have to train the next few weeks coz the last time i ran 2.4km, or even run more then 1km was in J2 when training for NAPHA. shall run every weekend or else i will die on the day of the run which is less than a mth's time.

Went to sing at Serangoon Gardens with June, Tay and Yunny on Tuesday. This is probably the last time before a very long time that we will have the time to get together and sing our hearts out. Since there was only four of us we pretty much sang nonstop. haha discovered my love for A1 songs again which i once liked in Pri6. had alot of fun belting out all the oldies.

Went to Chomp chomp for dinner where Mary joined us.. the food there was great.. though everything was just so chilli-fied.. ate..talk crap till ard 10 plus b4 we made our way back..

Went for the briefing with Charlene. Walked around the NIE/NTU campus.. went to see the hall.. haha Hall 13 is super super near the NIE campus. so we decided that we no need to wake up so early afterall.. also realised that NTU weather is like Genting weather.super nice to sleep in =x

I GOT INTO ENGLISH! super super happy.. there were like only 100 places. was so worried that i couldnt get into english.. but now that im in.. XD.. I realised that if i take english, it would be almost the same as taking English in FASS which was what i wanted last time. hahah..

Went to East Coast PArk with June Yunny Tay and Mary yesterday. The sun wasn't that hot so didnt get as burnt as the last ECP trip..haha im back to my cam-whoring self. haven taken that much pictures with my hp since i lost my K750. i hope i dun get killed for posting this few pics ^_^

is my memory failing me.. if i remembered correctly last time bike rental was 1 hr+another hr free. Yesterday we got 1hr+2hrs free 0_0. haha. We cycled all the way till the big drain where we can see mudskipper like creatures then we decided to turn back to cycle to the park connector towards Siglap Park.

While waiting for June and Yunny, saw this old man going into the drain by the steps to wash his legs..




Cycled till we reach this park with a playground. Cant remember what was the name of the playground. anywayz we rest there and played there..

After that we slacked at subway, talking about our childhood stories at around 2. Discussing the prime of our lives and before we knew it it was already 5+. Went to Parkway to walk and shop..haha slept very early that night..

Hahaa..just finished cycling and rollerblading in the park with yunny, tay and june. Watching Da Chang jing now.. haizz. dunno if in the end i can sign the bond coz of all the clashing timing. shall just leave it up to daddy god to help me to solve this big mess..

Saturday: Mum's fren came over for lunch.

After that went to BoonLay to find dear.. realised that the shopping centre at BoonLay, tink its called Jurong Point, is rather big.haha next time i will be spending alot of my time there since that is the nearest shopping centre to NTU.

Went to Cat zhou's sis birthday party for dinner.There was alot of pple.hahaa dun think my 21st will have so many pple.the food was super nice though.

Monday: Went to NTU and NUS and Cisco with Yunny. haha went to practically every where just to finish up out stuff. Went to Cisco to take pics, NTU to hand in my form and NUS for Yunny medical checkup. sianz. dun feel like going to my medical checkup

haiz.. dear is in field camp le. 4 days and 3 nitex.. =X everyone is going to field camp now. think Derek's is one day after that.

Its a Thurs..I think i am suffering from Thurs blues? caught the flu bug from my daddy. think my sis too coz both of us were coughing like mad the whole night yesterday.. hahaz the bright side is that my dad is feeling better coz didnt hear him cough the whole day..

Gotta go down to NIE to submit the documents by this week. and i have to go down AGAIN on friday to do registration=S. bleaghx..its so far away..i just want to nuah at home..

Spend my whole afternoon playing around with facebook.. haha i think im kinda slow but i just started on facebook like yesterday? didnt have the time to create an account so decided to do so before uni starts again..

Thurs = 2 more days to saturday! XD haha think dear is in Mandai forest now=x.. finally added his blog link..heh.been wanting to add for sometime but keep forgetting.. hope he can return to camp tonite and not get lost in Mandai =X

Haha just came back from TTSH with Hg cos he had a medical check-up. haha was super happy cos he can book out but in the end most of the time was spent on waiting and queueing from one doc to another.. so in the end didn't spend anytime walkin around.. must wait for so long before the next sat.. haix.

wanted to blog quite sometime back but before I can finish typing, I have to either switch of the computer or I have to do something else. As a result I have a lot of drafts but no post.. ok.. I shall type what happen the past few days so this will be a super long post starting from last Tuesday.

Tuesday: I finally got the NTU letter. It was just a miracle… My parents were like more delighted then me. haha. Can still remember I heard the postman coming, as usual, ran down to get the letters which I have been doing for days ever since I was hoping for the letter. Saw this letter with my name, tore it open and there it was. Haha my mum was especially happy and said that she wants to write it as a testimonial.. shall write about what happen later..

Wednesday:
We went to cat zhou 's house to slack..Haha I went there mainly to dota on her sis laptop..also watch deathnote 1 though I wasn’t exactly watching.. L is so cute..Been some time since I last dota so sort of kept playing the whole time

Thursday:
My sis is coming home today! Went to june's house today. It was a super sudden decision to Go. With jus a couple of sms flying around about the timing and off we were to June's House. Haha.. Was the 1st to arrive so we dota for awhile..I never knew that as long we are using the same Wireless network we can play without using any external prog. Haha ok.. I’m a little slow in finding that out. But one of the com kept disconnecting so we gave us playing.. Watch a little of CJ7. The little thing was super cute though it was kind of boring as a whole..

Super happy cos hg could book out for a while yesterday! But haix. why did it have to be the day where I couldn go find him cos had to go to the airport to go find my sis..but at least I still manage to meet! He went to the airport too..haha.took taxi from Outram where we met to Changi airport.

The cab driver was like asking if we were going to the East. I told him Changi airport. So he was like ok. Halfway through the journey, at near Suntec there, along the expressway, he suddenly told us that he could not fetch us to airport as there was a traffic jam and his son was not feeling well so he had to rush home. As he was driving at the centre lane on the expressway, he tried to get the attention of another fellow mercs cab. The cab was at the extreme right lane. Then driving side by side, with the windows winded down, he actually asked the other driver if she was going to the airport..while driving along the expressway..We got down at the left lane of the expressway and went to the other cab.. all these happened at the EXPRESSWAY..

Fri: Met with Cat, June n Tay for a meal at Ding Tai Fung at Bishan..in the end cat and I were so hungry that we decided to have our main meal which is our brunch at ajisen Ramen. Was a rather filling meal
So we sat there and talk and talk for a couple of hours.. haha.. talk about our secondary school days.. The days of our Alpha Camp where June, Tay and me were all in Andrew group..and how we rather not win and thus not cleaning the toilet.. After that we walked around Bishan to let our food digest.. By the end of our walk around Bishan, I started feeling hungry again..so instead of just eating the tang bao, we ate rice too..

Testimonial:
Haha.. wrote this quite sometime back but never got to post it..My mum was asking me to write it as a testimonial so here it is...
It was really the grace of god that led me into taking the NIE as my course.. Ever since JC ended, my Mum has been encouraging me to go into relief teaching.. And I was strongly against teaching or going for relief teaching. I'm not too sure why, maybe it was the fear of standing in front of a class of students, and how I didn't want to be responsible of not teachin the students well.. This fear may have come from past experience with relief teachers in my secondary school.. I'm not too sure.. all I knew is that I'm not suited for teaching.

I was rejected by all 3 unis so I was at a lost at what I was going to do. That was when I felt the panic and really sat down to pray for guidance of any form. That sunday, my mum brought me to see her friend whose name happened to be Christine. haha.. she was those career guidance person. She asked what I wanted to do and of course I said vet.. she talked to me for awhile before saying this "Have you considered going into teaching?" I was like no way! She asked me why and somehow manage to allay my fears and convinced me to actually take up teaching. So I decided that I will try going to teaching by getting a diploma at NIE.

At the same time I tried to appeal for NTU/NIE though there were alot of things against me. Firstly, I realised after I appealed into Nie that there was another form I had fill in another form from MOE and when I called MOE they said that the form Is already close. So I was damn happy to even get a chance at the interview.. The next hurdle was that I didn't put NIE as one of my 1st 5 choices to NTU when I 1st applied so naturally this will go against me in the interview. waited super long for the letter to come. The night before the letter came, my dad decided to practice what pastor prince has been preachin about the anointing oil and 2 cut the long story short, what we prayed for both me and the job trouble my dad was going through was both solve the next day.. =D
